The Aqua Marina Monster is strongly characterized by a number of important properties. With its length of 365 cm and a maximum carrying capacity of 160 kg, stability is no problem at all. Drop stitch technology

The Monster SUP is equipped with the so-called drop stitch technique, indispensable for an inflatable SUP board . This technology ensures that the board reaches and maintains its full hardness after inflation. Surprising, since you simply fold the board into the standard backpack after use.

This technique, in combination with the thickness of 15 cm & length of 365 cm, stability is unavoidable. Waves and other rough movements will be strongly slowed down by these properties. We almost always advise novice paddlers to look at the Aqua Marina Monster SUP board.

You inflate the Aqua Marina Monster SUP

The Aqua Marina Monster is inflatable, but you probably noticed that yourself. This technique has been incredibly developed in recent years and has almost only advantages. A Hard board is now difficult to distinguish from an inflatable model in many areas:

What do you receive from the Aqua Marina Monster set?

You will receive the red and black Monster Board. In addition to the board, you also receive the mountable fin. Note: do not mount this until the board is inflated.

1x Paddle

Propelling yourself in the water is no problem for the standard Aqua Marina Sports III Paddle.

This three-part aluminum model can be easily and quickly adjusted in height and can therefore be used with any user height. Just like the new look of the Monster, the paddle has also been given a new look. With a sleek design, this model fits very well with the board.

The only drawback that we can find with this aluminum model is the weight of 1.1 kg , which is relatively heavy. In large part, this is due to the aluminum. For a lighter variant, it is recommended to choose a model that consists of fiberglass or carbon.

1x Ankle Cord

Safety has also been considered; you will receive the Aqua Marina ankle cord as standard. Do not expect too much from this, it is a standard cord that does what it is for .

The advanced suppers will be able to discover some points for improvement, but this model is very suitable for the beginner.

1x High pressure pump

The inflatable Aqua Marina Monster SUP can be inflated with the Double Action pump supplied as standard. This model is very basic and again does what it should do. The Monster has a maximum pressure of 15 PSI , which can be read exactly from the pressure gauge.

On average, it takes 7 to 10 minutes to fully inflate the board. Relatively fast and that is partly due to the Double Action technology .

You pump in twice as much air with this. 15 PSI almost reached? Finish the job with the Single Action function to achieve the desired PSI.

Of course you also need to be able to transport the relatively large Monster SUP easily. With the standard backpack in size L, you can take your board with you wherever you go. The backpack has the following dimensions: 94 x 46 x 27 cm .

In addition to a new look, the functionalities have been greatly improved compared to the previous version:

Is the Aqua Marina Monster SUP the best choice for me?

Not sure if the Monster SUP from Aqua Marina fits your needs? why not choose the Magma or Fusion ? Visitors usually doubt the most between these three models, not surprising, they are in the same price range. They do, however, have a number of important differences.

As described earlier, the SUP board Aqua Marina Monster is a real all-round model , ideal for long tours. The focus of this board is therefore on stability. It's no coincidence that the Monster is one of our best-selling models, just like the Fusion.

Do you need the length and width of the Aqua Marina Monster?

It is good to know that the Monster and Fusion have been available on the market for some time, so they are improved every year. We are a bit more familiar with both models and have actually noticed improvements over the years.

The biggest difference between the two models is the length, as the Fusion is 35 cm shorter and 8 cm less wide. These smaller dimensions result in a lower selling price.

Go for a sportier challenge

Length or width not the problem during your choice, but do you simply want more challenge? Put the Monster aside for a while and take a look at the Magma. On the market since 2016 and equipped with a number of sporty features.

With this lighter model you are assured of more speed, the kickpad for a slight elevation of the board also makes your ride more intense. However, with the Magma it becomes more difficult to maintain stability. We often recommend this board to advanced suppers.
