The Mistral Spirit (13'2) is an inflatable SUP designed for competitions and fast cruising . Due to the very stiff, fast and stable construction you benefit from a good glide and control. The narrow and long shape ensures high speeds and allows the board to cut effortlessly through the water.

The Mistral Spirit comes with a US box, so you always have freedom of choice in the type of fin. Together with the Fusion Layer Technology you are assured of a durable, lightweight, hard board. Loading weight and purpose

The maximum payload of the Mistral Spirit 13'2 is close to 150 kg. This allows you to transport a lot of stuff, it makes your board a lot more versatile. For example , supping with a dog or a friend is also possible.

Double Skin Fusion Layer Technology

The SUP boards from Mistral are equipped with DSFL Technology. The outer surface layer of the PVC fabric is made watertight and airtight, using a liquid reinforced polyester that cures to form a tough outer boundary.

The finished fused material consists of an inner core fabric on which the drop stitch is woven and the outer, sealed with reinforced liquid PVC (FLT Technology)

Woven drop stitch material

In 2019, FLT has been combined with a 'woven' fall stitch material, moving away from the traditional 'knitted' fabrics. Woven drop stitch material is thinner, offers more tensile strength due to the way the internal fibers are woven, there are fewer layers (laminates needed) and this brought a weight reduction of 20% compared to a knitted drop stitch plate.

This was good for the environment and provided better transportability and better performance through extra stiffness and less weight. With this technology, Mistral inflatable stand up paddle boards were truly at the highest level of quality and performance.

The Mistral Spirit features 13,600 stitches per square cm

For 2021, the brand has gone further and increased the number of interlocking stitches per square centimeter from 11,000 to 13,600. By making the threads thinner, inflatables are created that are now 'next level' stiff without weight gain!
